But then Piet realizes later that Tim is right and wants to talk about this with someone else, but he doesn’t want to open up about his mental health to anyone and things are weird with everyone right now, so he goes back to Tim and offers to answer another question in exchange for advice. Tim has befriended Levi already and Levi is considering trying to talk to Piet again so Tim asks why Piet doesn’t like Levi. He tries to work through all that and Tim reluctantly decides by the end Piet can ask two questions since it was such a big question. Piet asks if he should go to therapy and Tim has to think about it because he’s not sure, and he decides Piet should try to see if it works and feel it out. Piet says that’s kind of lame and Tim says he doesn’t know that much. Piet begs to differ and Tim says that from now on Piet shouldn’t answer any questions that are basically therapy questions, because he’s not going to keep doing this.
The Urge
2024-08-02 00:39:35 +0000 UTCPiet protests but Tim says Piets plan is dumb anyway and he reluctantly tries to explain his whole situation, and Tim has more questions that Piet rejects for the time being. Tim agrees to his end of this, provided Piet answer one more question if it doesn’t work. It doesn’t go quite well, but they get somewhere with this. Piet whines a bit about the assignment and Tim asks why he can’t just do it anyway, and Piet says he sounds like his mom. That shuts Tim up about that subject and he pivots towards their agreement. Piet agrees to explain why he dated Thea in the first place, and tries to sort through it and comes to the conclusion that he’s kind of a shitty person. Tim goads that on, but then Piet implies he should have gone missing or died and Tim is mad now, and now Piet is mad that Tim thinks he should think more highly of himself, and then leaves.

Imagine Piet after everything goes south with Lucas and Levi and Henry and Thea and Tim gets a new mentor, Piet is in a darker place than he’s ever been and doesn’t know how to fix this and hearing Molle ask for advice just makes him feel worse and when asked about his lack of progress he asks to be switched in positions and instead of mentoring get a mentor of his own somehow. They don’t think he needs it and don’t know how they’d do it, so he tries to prove it but they think he’s just being too hard on himself. So he goes to Tim and tries to have a talk but Tim rejects it and he has a breakdown where he bites himself because of the frustration building too high, and Tim backs away in shock and Piet begs him not to tell anyone what happened, and Tim asks what could he so important, and Piet says he wants Tim to tell the teachers what a failure he was as a mentor and why. Tim has like a hundred follow-up questions now, and Piet makes him promise to agree to keep his breakdown a secret, and he says he was never going to say anything. Then Tim says he wants to know what this is before he answers, because he doesn’t know what Piet wants. so he asks about it and piet answers but now Tim wants to know why Piet cheated on Thea.
