[cutE] Storyboard Page 1-10

Hey guys, I want to show you the first 20 storyboard pages of "cutE" (Julians story)! They were done in december 2017. Sadly, I had to postpone this project due to jobs and Green&Gold etc.

Sorry that it's in German; my translator currently doesn't have time since she's busy building a house with her husband! If someone wants to translate it to english, go for it! I don't trust my english skills enough to do it myself XD
The font is created out of my own handwriting so I hope it's readable ...

-> Read the first 10 pages here (the rest will be posted next friday): https://www.dropbox.com/sh/7zjp8kv7ciyw31y/AAA_fdiAnYKFHv-JKRcz2Va9a?dl=0

Comments

It doesn't seem like Patreon is terribly fond of megacomments like that. All the formating is gone too. It disappeared after I edited "In 8" to "8 past" (mistook an a for an o) so maybe I overloaded something. Hmm...

Here's Anders' translation (thank you!): Rough and ready translation: (I am going from one foreign language to another so take it with a grain of salt.) pg1 Hey! We're not intoxicating thirteen year olds here! I won't get sloshed! pg2 Puh! haha You'll get used to it! Go! Have another sip. That's enough! Ey! You again. Our Julian is, as always, under the protection of Phileas the Holy. pg3 I have to catch the bus anyway. You don't want to miss … Sandmännchen… (Boy, thats a cultural reference that's hard to translate into English. A daily childrens show in the early evening squeezed in between the news and other "adult" content. For small children, often the last thing before bedtime. Maybe something like Mr. Rodgers in America? Haven't a clue what the equivalent in Britain would be. Oh god, now the melody is stuck in my head.) Man, Viktor! We're just teasing you, little one. You've become our punching bag ever since Phil dragged you with him. (Nesthäkchen is another word thats hard to translate. It originally means the youngest sibling who ends up at bottom of the "pecking order" by virtue of being the youngest. It's used here to indicate a similar dynamic, although nobody's related. It has more loving conotations than "punching bag" I'd say.) Adriaaan! I'll come with you. Don't let them annoy you. See you tomorrow! Bye! pg4 When does your bus come? In 8. pg5 I really missed you while moving. It was a big day for me. Away from home, into the student life you know … I had to make believe with my "new family", ugh I'm sure it's a big change when suddenly two more people move in with you. Totally The flat is even more chock full than before. Hey … Do you just want to come over to my place? pg6 The lectures don't start until next week. Perhaps we could watch a movie, order a pizza? Just you and I. Without the others. The idiots. (A quirk of grammar makes this slightly clunkier than in German.) That'd be nice. pg7 There it comes. Behave yourself! Always! Send me your adress! I will! Bye! pg 8 I'm home! Chaos. I don't know anything else. pg9 My "family" … pg10 IGNORED My father. Simone. My sister Lena. As always. The only ray of light being … Julian!

I published a translation, but it disappeared. Oh well. It doesn't seem like Phil is quite aware of how much Julian looks up to him and how much power this grants him as a result. It will be interesting to watch the dynamic between these two develop.
