and welcome back to Swiftlessons for an exclusive lead guitar tutorial. In today's session I'll be breaking down some basic tricks for playing licks and fills in the key of D major. The goal of this lesson will be to master our D major scale in it's open position, and two ear-catching licks you can perform between chords. Quick Tip: Remember to practice the techniques in this video at a slow and steady tempo. The key to building speed is to identify a base tempo where you can perform with confidence, then gradually increase that tempo as you become more proficient.
