Campus IT Manager Diary, pt 2

Look, I'm not complaining about my job. Not me. The pay's great, the staff are... well... agreeable, to say the least. And the work is certainly interesting.

But man, the students and their shenanigans can really be a pain. At least, the more technically-minded ones. The advanced Software Engineering students have developed this fun little tradition of, well, "modding" the teaching staff and having their way with them on their way out for winter break.

Which leaves me with kicking off my vacation by rounding up most of the staff, in their various states of disrobe and disrepair, resetting them, and sending them off to their charging bays in the storage room behind my office.

And before you ask, I assure you that I advised the administrative staff that repurposed sex bots might cause problems when used off-label as teachers, coaches, etc. If nothing else, certainly from a PR perspective. But everyone seems to prefer the, uh, ahem... "realism" they offer over basic service models. I'm told they contribute to the unmatched staff and student satisfaction ratings the university receives each year. So what do I know?

I suppose they do help keep a lower profile on the fact that most of the university staff have been replaced with these things. When they're fully dressed, of course. And nobody makes a fuss since, despite my efforts, it's clearly not that hard to re-enable their "default programming."

I just wish those hormone-riddled troublemakers would take the time to reset them and dress the bots when they're... uh, "finished" with them.

As much as I bitch and complain... There really are a lot worse things I could be doing for a living.

At least they're self-cleaning.
