His eyes rolled upward to give me a quizzical look.
"Yep -- all done," I said, stepping back to survey my handiwork. His pose wasn't perfect, but it would do. "Weird pose, huh?"
"Uh huh," he answered, keeping his mouth open wide. Kevin obeyed so well.
"It'll make sense once you're petrified. Can you hold this for a minute or two while I get you off a little more?"
"Uh huh!"
