At one point I was asked to hold up an antique lantern up high in the air while I was decorated, my arm eventually trembling from the extended effort. My tired muscles were a contrast to the hot dripping wax sensation, a different kind of pain.
When they pressed the baby’s breath flowers into the dripping lines of wax the sensation heightened. The results were beautiful.
