Yea something weird happened to his specimens. I think somehow a weird dupe glitch happened. Possibly because of some mods interacting weird? Not sure. But he definitely ended up with way more than is possible in Act 1 haha.

2024-10-13 04:14:38 +0000 UTCIt looks like you might get one extra point the first time you absorb a parasite (or at least Mapo did), but not from persuading your party members. In episode 16 at 04:20 he shows 6 specimens in a bag (from dror, edowin, flind, minthara, gut, grove). He absorbs them and gets 7 points. He spends one and convinces his party to accept the powers. Still at 6. In episode 17 at 29:16 he opens the pouch again for a split second and there are 5 more specimens that are not supposed to exist. He moves the pouch and those get absorbed for a total of 11 points. Then at the infirmary he loots the 3 specimens and spends one for a total of 13 points.

2024-10-04 22:14:55 +0000 UTCIt's crazy to think that you're on episode 23 and still haven't scratched Act 2, yet. So much more in store, I don't know what you're episode record is but this game may likely break it. I have one loading screen level pro-tip: When it is your turn, if the next character(s) turn is a member of your party you can select them and complete their turn(s) first before going back to the original character to complete theirs. You can do this for anyone set to go next until an enemy or non-player-controlled character needs to take their turn. This is useful if a party member is blocking your path, but is set to go next so you can take their turn and clear the path for the previous character, or if the next character has a spell or ability that will make your current character's turn more powerful, etc.

2024-09-29 22:39:18 +0000 UTCWhich ones are just given? The wiki lists 10 specimens (maybe 12 if you do specific quests AND kill the quest givers as well). Mapo is still missing one of those 10, so I don't think there is any way to get 15 at this point without a glitch.
