Once the Fiancé, Now the Bride (8/12)

The past few weeks had settled into a strange sense of routine for Gabi. Mornings blurred into afternoons, and evenings passed without much resistance. She woke up, followed Lucy and Kat’s instructions, and went through the motions. Whether it was her skincare, makeup, or the endless stream of outfits, she had learned to keep her head down and obey. Fighting back only made things harder, and besides, the girls always found a way to get their way.

Tonight was no different. Dressed in one of their usual risque choices, Gabi carried the dinner plates to the table, her heels clicking softly against the floor as she placed the dishes down with careful precision, her movements delicate and practiced.

“Would you just look at these hips?” Kat said, leaning back against the kitchen counter, sipping her wine as her eyes traced over Gabi’s figure. Gabi blushed deeply, staring at the floor, her hands fidgeting nervously. She hated how much the hormones had changed her body… but there was no point in denying it.

Lucy joined in, circling around Gabi with a wicked grin. “Mmmhmm, and that waist! Oh, Gabi, you’re practically a little hourglass now,” she teased, pinching her sides lightly before giving her a playful slap on the rear. “You can’t tell me you’re not loving it!”

“Th-thank you, Miss Lucy and Miss Kat,” Gabi stammered, her head still bowed, her cheeks burning with embarrassment as the girls continued to admire her.

Kat clapped her hands together suddenly. “You know what? I think it’s time you started dating.”

“D-Dating?” Gabi stammered, her eyes widening as she glanced nervously between the two of them. “But… what about Emily?”

Kat giggled, shaking her head. “Oh, honey,” she said with a tone dripping in mock pity, “I think Emily’s already found herself a new man—one who can actually satisfy her.” She leaned in closer, her smirk wicked. “But don’t worry, Gabi. Once we find you the right man—one who has your toes curling and has you moaning his name—you’ll understand exactly why Emily moved on to a real man.”

The words hit Gabi like a dagger to the heart. Emily had moved on? Her throat tightened as the crushing realization swept over her. Any hope she’d clung to was gone, and with it, the last shred of resistance. She lowered her gaze, her voice trembling as she whispered, “Yes, Miss Kat.”

“Perfect!” Kat squealed, clapping her hands in delight as she reached for her phone. “I already have someone in mind!” Lucy grabbed Gabi’s hand, pulling her toward the bedroom with barely contained excitement. “Come on, let’s get you ready!”

The next hour was a flurry of preparation. Gabi was ushered into the chair in front of the vanity, where Lucy meticulously curled her dark hair into soft, bouncy waves that framed her delicate face. Kat took charge of her makeup, leaning in close with a satisfied smirk as she blended shadows and lined her eyes to perfection, finishing with a bold red lipstick.

The highlight, however, was the outfit. The slinky black dress clung to her body like a second skin, the open back and thigh-high slit teasing with just enough skin to turn heads. Black stockings traced the length of her legs, disappearing beneath the hem of the dress, and her feet were elevated by sleek stiletto heels that demanded attention with every step.

As they finished up, the sound of a car pulling up outside made her heart stop, and before she could even protest, Lucy sang, “He’s here!” grabbing Gabi’s arm and pulling her toward the door.

Her date, Ryan, was leaning casually against the hood of his car, a sleek black sports model that gleamed under the streetlights. He exuded confidence—tall and broad-shouldered, his smirk was sharp and unapologetic, making Gabi’s stomach twist nervously.

“Gabi, right?” Ryan asked, his deep voice carrying an edge as he opened the passenger door for her, motioning her inside with a slight nod.

“Y-yes,” she stammered, her cheeks burning as she stepped inside, smoothing her dress nervously as she settled into the seat.

The car roared to life as he climbed in, his hand finding her thigh as he shifted gears. His grip was firm, his thumb brushing against the smooth fabric of her stockings. “You look absolutely stunning tonight,” he said, his eyes darting to her legs before returning to the road, his smirk never fading.

“T-thank you,” Gabi whispered, shrinking slightly into the seat as she avoided his gaze, her heart pounding as the weight of his hand lingered on her.

Dinner was no less overwhelming. Ryan was bold, shamelessly flirtatious, and completely in control. His hand often found hers or brushed against her leg beneath the table, his eyes fixed on her in a way that made her squirm. When he leaned in to murmur something low and teasing, his voice sent shivers down her spine. By the time the meal was over, Gabi felt like she was balancing on the edge of a cliff, her nerves completely frayed.

When they pulled up to Kat and Lucy’s house, Ryan stepped out of the car and moved with purpose. Opening her door, he took her hand as she climbed out, her heels clicking softly on the pavement. His other hand found her waist, gripping firmly, sending a jolt through her as he guided her closer.

Suddenly, though, Ryan pulled her in close, his body firm and unyielding against hers. His hand slid lower, resting just above the curve of her hips as he leaned down, capturing her lips in a deep, commanding kiss.

Gabi froze, her heart hammering in her chest as Ryan’s mouth claimed hers with an intensity that left her breathless. Her fingers clutched his jacket instinctively as his other hand tightened slightly on her waist. When he finally pulled back, his lips lingering just a moment longer, she could barely breathe, her cheeks flushed and her lips tingling.

“Goodnight, beautiful,” Ryan said, his voice dripping with confidence as he brushed a strand of her hair aside. His smirk returned as he turned back to his car without another word.

Teetering inside on shaky legs, Gabi was immediately greeted by Kat and Lucy’s eager, grinning faces. “Ooooh, I think we have a winner!” Lucy teased, clapping her hands together.

Gabi could only stand there, dazed and blushing, her mind spinning as the events of the evening replayed over and over.
