Hi AJay my sub didn't expire, YET! I was super excited about this album release since I loved EMAILS I CAN'T SEND from her. But... when I first listened to it I was quite disappointed? I wouldn't say it's a bad album because after more than ten listens I can easily name my favorites and say that the first half of this project is stronger in my opinion. I think both singles she released are great but my favorites would be TASTE and BED CHEM! I enjoyed those silly lyrics in BED CHEM and TASTE MV is something different! I think this album is definitely a grower. I still think Emails I Can’t Send is better, but this one is definitely a solid effort. I know you mentioned wanting to hear more dance music from artists. I would highly encourage you to listen to Ava Max’s second album Diamonds & Dancefloors. Definitely one of the most solid dance records I’ve heard in a while. The production on the album is absolutely sick.

personally as a carpenter i'll be unbiased, i personally love eics more but i think it's gonna be hard to top that album for me bc it's so healing and perfect from start to finish imo. there are no bad songs on sns, all songs are cute and the singles stand out but aside from the singles none of them really got me off my seat when i first heard it unlike when i heard eics. but after a few listens i found myself not skipping one song bc the album is actually a huge grower. it gets a lot better with every listen. :)

As someone who wasn’t crazy about every song on this the first listen either, lemme tell ya- I’ve now had it on repeat for the last few days. I’m OBSESSEDDDD, especially with Don’t Smile being the last song, bc to me it literally sounds like an outro in the sense that I can see a vhs tape rolling the end credits.. idk how to explain it but that’s exactly what it sounds like, which totally fits with the thematic visuals of the album.
