2023-01-19 23:01:46 +0000 UTCYes, almost all the animals in this world are hybrids. You saw otter-penguins in Eps 1 & 2, the platypus bear, and the koalotter. Appa is in fact a manatee-bison hybrid and his appearance was directly inspired by the Catbus from "My Neighbor Totoro". Momo is a bat-lemur, and his mannerisms were inspired by one of the writing or production staff's cat. In other news, welcome to the "grown-up" part of the show. Shit's gettin' real.
