Hey guys. Need some more time to prepare for the next build. We’re pushing it by one week to May 29th.

Hi everyone! Apologies for our abrupt delay. This extra time will help us make a better build and provide additional previews.
I have all of Bates’ moves complete now and I’m making some related fixes and adjustments. We’ll still need one or more builds before Bates is a wrap and we can move on, but we want to get more of your feedback soon so we can properly balance the difficulty. We’re also revising Joe’s Crescent Moon special move because it was never fully implemented as planned. We want to make sure it’s in its final state so we can plan the Bates adjustments around it. We’ll also prepare for Joe’s upcoming Dodge Roll move which will be obtained after the battle with Bates.
I’ll have all the details included in the changelog when we post our new build on Wednesday, May 29th. As always, thank you for your support! Take care and see you soon~ =}

And one more thing~ Part of the challenge of Bates is based on how many items the player has found. One of the ways we measure challenge is by knowing what items are available and determining what are the min and max strengths of the player within a particular battle. We will be adding a lot more items (possibly even retroactively), so these are all variables to consider.

The game up to Bates is actually just the intro section of what we have planned for the game so we kept things easier. After Bates, we'll be focusing more on gameplay, including a Quest system (soon) and challenge areas (later).

This was intended all along, but I never got around to coding it in. We are going to have a discussion to finalize the details though. Thanks for the interest!
