2024-02-26 10:49:43 +0000 UTCIt just occurred to me that, had Keisuke seen this interaction while those two are all "it's never going to happen" he probably would be a bit "huh, actually.." but I'm also convinced he is way too responsible to try to risk giving "false hopes" so to speak Intuitive enough to sense there could be a chance here but he'd also be very weary of hyping his friend too much, just making absolutely clear to Souta that he needs to be ready to face things simply not working out, he can get excited easily and that leaves him open for also getting hurt and that would be the least thing he'd want Yeh Keisuke Post in the big Nao & Souta scene

I also really enjoy the notorious difference in presentation between the two but that still conveys they are going through the exact same thing, Souta's reactions and thoughts are loud and messy, extremely expressive, and Nao's are mild and quiet, nearly silent and devoid of obvious signals They're both being so cowardly on their own way, but it honestly makes perfect sense for being so young and the circumstances around them It's so interesting how if neither backpedaled SO fast things could be different, but it's fair they have to be ready at their own time
