description
this rack is based on a patcher effect i made AGES ago called "paddington," which made grainy-sounding pads and soundscapes with basically no effort. it went really viral on producer subreddits for some reason, so i decided to remake it in ableton using stock plugins!
main features:
space: a reverb/spectral blur processor for making large, space-y sounds.
grain: a row of pitch shifters that make incoming sounds really grainy and pretty.
spread: this spreads the grains in the grain processor apart in pitch and panning. moving this around sounds really funny.
crush: this adds a bitcrushing effect to the space and grain processors.
