It doesn't like, matter, but I wanted to say that "discreet" means unobtrusive, but "discrete" means distinct or separate. So to use Akilah's example, black Americans would be a discrete group that face discrimination, but the fact that they are black and the racism they face isn't usually discreet

His supporters tried to elbow their way into the antiwar coalition we were building at the time. We told them to kick rocks.
