And that led directly to this right-wing turn. FWIW, those of us on the younger end ("Millennial Opening Act" I've seen us called) realized fifteen years ago how much bullshit that was and that the way forward is empathy, caring, and sincerity. (Also, we were the generation of a series of riots starting with the WTO and ending maybe with the FTAA or later so we always did have that streak. We were helpful elders during Occupy.) So uh not All Gen Xers? But fuck you are right about us... Also Bernie would have won.
