Loved the episode! One quibble: Musk didn't come up with the idea for ZIp2. An early lawsuit (exceedingly, exceedingly hard to find via search engines) alleges the following, which in hindsight is more plausible than his cover story of founding it: - Musk made up some credentials (plausible) - to interview for a company doing Zip2-type stuff - received proprietary knowledge after promising to keep it confidential - and used that to launch Zip2 (then-named Global Link) He can be credited for making Zip2 successful -- no doubt using his poker strategy: constantly bluffing and doubling down and then actually getting lucky -- but it wasn't his idea.
