The Ben Shapiro Cinematic Universe / Part Two: Lady Ballers

Hi. Last week, we looked at why The Daily Wire is putting out original content that they claim is apolitical. This week, we're doing a deep dive on Jeremy Boreing's magnum opus: Lady Ballers.

----

Note: This week's Patreon version is not available on YouTube, as they're blocking videos with lengthy Lady Ballers clips. We're shortening some of the clips for the main YouTube version that will go up later this week. So, lucky you – you get more Lady Ballers than everyone else!

As usual, comment if there are any issues with the upload, and thanks for your support!

Even weird bigots deserve better media than this pile of trash.

You want some irony? Fucks like Shapiro, Boering, Peterson et al make me orders of magnitude more ashamed to be a white male than any historically accurate description of the crimes my ancestors may have perpetrated. These guys literally make me want to puke.

At first I was like cool patreon exclusive. I then realized this meant watching more Ladyballers 😫

YES!!! Finally that Patreon money pays off

I don't mind saying I torrented this movie, then got drunk and watched it with friends. We laughed a lot, but not for the reasons they wanted us to.

Haha, 3 seconds into watching this, my tablet froze and had to reload Patreon.

I almost always listen to the podcast instead of watch the video, but for this one it made sense to watch instead. So much of the weirdness is in the visuals.

Data Diva

on rotten tomatoes, 9/10 4-5 star reviews was an account that had no watchlist or review other than this movie. it's likely that they paid for their ratings.

I think you should invoice them your consultation fee. side note: what if they listen and level up?

Watching Cody talk about the eye line in movies/TV just made me think this is something that most people would intuitively get when shooting a scene. They may not be able to articulate it but its something they would/should understand. Watching this review makes me think they did not storyboard the film, and if they did, they did not do a good job at it. I looked at the IMDB rating breakdown and it is quite telling about the people who watched/rated it - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30216176/ratings/?ref_=tt_ov_rt Previously the rating was 6.0 and is now 5.9 (11k ratings). The percentage of people rating it a 10 was 45.3%, and 1 star is 15.1%. This is an insane percentage for 10 stars and if you look at any other good, or highly rated, movie you understand the people watching/rating it are people that already agree with the idea, or are subscribers to the Daily Wire. If you compare to Back to the Future, which has an 8.5 rating (1.3M ratings), only 25.7% give it a 10, but the other high ratings are a large percentage as well - 9 stars (26.4%), 8 stars (27.8%), and 1 star (0.4%).
