2023-11-06 00:07:57 +0000 UTCKaty yelling "go die" about Joe Biden and the "getting re-elected v doing the humane thing" convo is just like me every time I talk about this topic. I do not pull the punch tho.

2023-11-05 03:15:32 +0000 UTCThat's easy to understand if you're not a disingenuous shit-stirrer. They spent several minutes beforehand talking about how Israel, the state, is not the Jewish people. The state of Israel doing bad things and you can and should oppose that. You can and should oppose that especially if you are Jewish and these atrocities are being done in their name. Some of the most vocal calls for the Israeli government/Netanyahu to cut its shit out are coming from Jewish people. Did you listen or did you just wait to find something to pick at to be a little shit about?

2023-11-03 20:12:23 +0000 UTCI understand the frustration, but we have two parties and if one loses the other one wins. In our current environment, if Biden loses Trump or DeSantis wins. We know what Trump will do and it will all be terrible. I wish we had other options, but this is the world we live in. How do we fix this? I want to be really clear that I hate how Biden responded to the war in Gaza but also I know that the world cannot endure what the Republicans want to do to it and I am open to any and all suggestions.

2023-11-03 20:09:09 +0000 UTCAs someone who is from and lives in Charlottesville, it’s infuriating to hear one of the most traumatic events in the history of our community bandied about for cheap political points. We were there, standing face to face with actual nazis, and a lot of the people I stood with to protect our Jewish brothers and sister are standing right now to protect Palestinians. And you know who I didn’t see standing there with us? Any of these politicians who pretend like our town is just one event. They haven’t even come for a single campaign event, let alone mention us for any other reason than to be political expedient for their own purposes. Infuriating.
