Sucker Punch: details

Here you can see some details behind the punch, when default face targeting changed slowly to the groin target. Also the target itself have 2 additional hands sub-targets to clutching. 

Is it even a Sucker Punch if groin hits are allowed and welcomed? (thinking face)

Thats impressive, I'm not aware of any other fighting game that gives cues for incoming attacks. Wasn't aware of the complexity that underlies each move.

It would be cool if we can decide to enable or disable the pain/reaction level.. Disable means the pain reaction will depends on the amount of pain (or HP loss) delivered like you said, and enable means I can manually adjust the level for each player as I wish.. What do you think?

Sorry, I'm not fully understand what you mean by adjusting the reaction in game? The pain reaction will depends on the amount of pain (or HP loss) delivered. So if your punch was weak, or your foe was too tough - you delivering little pain, so reaction is small.

Fantastic! So far the game looks really promising.. I do like the low blow, the reaction and mechanism in this clip. Hope to see more low blow varieties in higher reaction level in the future. BTW, can we adjust the reaction level in-game (like during "pause" the game)?

Sure. The results will depend on character stats, moves combinations and tactics. For every round you will put your "power points" to different attributes so as your opponent. So even for the same characters every battle will be completely unique. I'll post some explanation of game mechanics later, so we could discuss the features more detailed.

In a first game version we will be limited only to 3 types of reaction: avoid, block and getting hit. If the things will go well - the counter attack will be added in next versions. I'm trying to keep things as simple as possible for the first version, so the development will not take ages. After that we could improve the game step by step.

Sweet. I imagine that there will be a counter system where different combinations of moves from you and your opponent would lead to very different and unique results?

Yes, exactly. In a simple way: you define the sequence of moves, so as your opponent (or computer) do. And than you'll watch how the fight going turn after turn without your interference.

Nice, well as I 've seen this I 've thought about a counter system. Will it be possible to counterattack attacks of others? sry, for my english language skills. I hope you understand, what I am trying to tell.

I didn't think about mutual punches but I'm working on a "mutual" mechanics. When you grab each other crotches/nipples and squeeze simultaneously. Both players loose HPs during time but the weaker player loose much more at the end!

wow, the details look really nice~~ I do hope the finished product will allow hits to land simultaneous. A mutual crotch punch would be so hot with this level of details
