Since it came up in the episode, the whole mask thing to me is so much easier now. I (and I've noticed most here in the SF Bay Area) have just sort of defaulted to solidarity with workers. If they're still stuck using 'em at a place I and my roommate go (the grocery store last night was a good example), then we'll happily throw them on. Being fully vaccinated for over a month at this point, it's purely a courtesy move, and it feels right, but I'm also 1000% cognizant of the fact that that's just sort of placating my own lingering reticence to abandon this thing that so many idiots fought to not wear. Now that it's truly optional, it almost feels like an extra fuck you to them.
