We are really doing it.... after 6 years of people asking me to watch it... I am finally going to give it a 'real' try. I sat down and watched the first 7 episodes in one day, so keep in mind that if I mispronounce anything or have any misunderstandings... they should get corrected after episode 8. Please keep spoilers away from the comment sections!!!! If you post spoilers, they will be deleted off the comment sections! You can be vague or say you are excited for me to meet characters.... but try not to spoil anything for me or anyone else watching for the first time!
"To You, in 2000 Years: The Fall of Shiganshina, Part 1"
Remember you need to sync up the episode with your own copy on Crunchyroll.
Question: How will watching the show work?
-Currently, Attack on Titan is in a 'temporary' spot for my weekly schedule. I want to try out posting a show twice a week. I will be posting Attack on Titan Monday's and Friday's for the next two weeks and see how well it performs on Youtube and Patreon. If enough people seem to be enjoying the show and the new format, then Attack on Titan will stay in the twice a week spot after the 2 weeks end. IF it seems like people aren't enjoying the series as much as I hope, then Attack on Titan will be reduced to once a week and only be posted on Monday's every week. IF NO ONE IS HAVING FUN.... then I will cut Attack on Titan from the schedule entirely, so please make sure to like the edited video on Youtube and heart it on Patreon.
Question: Didn't you watch the first episodes before?
-Yes, I watched the first 8 episodes back in 2019 for the Request Tier on Patreon (over 4 years ago). I had a hard time understanding the anime and simply wasn't in the right headspace to be watching this intense of an anime. It was always hard to 'randomly' watch an anime without having any 'headsup' for what a show might be like... so I walked into Attack on Titan without much warning, which resulted in me being mostly confused and overwhelmed originally.... which made it very 'unfun' for everyone watching it. You can still go back and rewatch my first 'reaction' on patreon under the "AOT 2019" tag. Warning, I'm just confused and it's almost frustrating to watch, SINCE, I was so confused and overwhelmed, I genuinely don't remember much of the first 8 episodes.... so i decided it would make wayyyy more sense to rewatch the episodes and go in with a better mindset. I think it was for the better for everyone and I was able to focus on the show.
