No, she's a dragon who has had a job to do, which she did, (not all that well) and was pretty much isolated because of it. Elias got dumped on her doorstep because of a drought, and the village needed a sacrifice to "appease the mighty dragon goddess". She doesn't eat humans. Tried to send him home, found out that the villagers had burnt it down, decided to keep him. He saved her life from an extradimensional demon in her basement, which she was supposed to be keeping an eye on, (the job she wasn't doing too well) and bada bing, bada boom, here we are...
