For example, What's different about his Aether/Manna, that the fiend was so repulsed by merely a taste, that she dropped her guard and let herself get spear kicked back into the cell? I'd LOVE to dive deep into what I suspect but I don't want to ruin the surprise from Fenn if I'm correct.
