Every classroom has that one student, the student that stands out. Some stand out on purpose while others don’t even realize it. Your class is no different. In the back of the class sits a manticore who stands out due to her goth attire which makes her look more like a vampire than a manticore. As far as you know she hasn’t spoken to anyone in the class, and you know for a fact that no one speaks to her on their own free will. Manticores have a bad reputation for being aggressive. Not aggressive like a hellhound but aggressive mean. That combined with her looks makes her a person that seems to repel other people, not that she seemed to mind.
