2026-01-11 01:41:29 +0000 UTCIDK, it was a bit of a step back. As we read chapter by chapter, I think it's easy to want constant plot or progression because of the rate of consumption. Having side perspectives that show people with very misinformed opinions help hilight Percy's uniqueness, while expanding the world a bit. I think it will make the overall story feel more rich.

I don’t love it when the status takes up 1/4 of the chapter’s words, but so many of his spells and abilities evolve, and I lose track. Worse, I never remember what chapter to go back to, to find the latest one. It would be awesome if it was just put in the comments occasionally as a reference.

Based on everything I’ve read so far, until Demigod to Godhood the only “bottleneck” seems to be how many elixirs drunken in a lifetime. If the great Noble houses could get white cores on the original doses of elixir before Percy came along, why do the non-great houses not get whites, and only like 1 violet? Do they just not get enough elixir or something or am I missing something about promotion? Because based on everything I’ve read so far, I don’t see anything preventing every single yellow born from easily making it to white if they have constant access to elixirs.
