Little Rhea insight

She was turned in Sicily in 1427. Her mother, her maker spoke four words to her before she plunged her fangs onto the delicate smooth flesh of her human neck “You are worth more.”
Rhea remembered the ecstasy of that night even as centuries passed her by, just as she still remembered the pain that followed. For as agonizing as turning had been for her, it did not sway Rhea from the many she had turned herself for years to come. You don’t achieve greatness without suffering, and after all she was worth more.
“I don’t believe you!” Exclaimed a man who attempted to stand tall in front of the woman he addressed, but try as he might most failed to meet her height. He was an older British gentleman, one would hardly mistake him for their kind having been turned a little more aged than most, but his fangs were now drawn as he argued his way through a conversation.
“Believe what you believe.” Rhea retorted calmly, her sultry voice did little to ease the man’s rage. “Why would they simply attack from the north when I had given them strict orders not to?” He pondered, but his question was quickly met with an answer from Rhea herself “Because I told them to.”
At this time the man, though outranking Rhea, had to remind himself that she had a few hundred years on him and it was wise of him not to lose his tempter entirely. Even still he would demand “On whose authority?” Rhea was not one to bend the knee or apologize, and she left no room for pause when she spoke her peace “Listen here, little man. History will not remember the soldiers who obeyed orders and lost… history remembers the victors, and I will not lose.”
In modern day Rhea is one of the heads of the secret vampire council in North America, but her story spans hundreds of years, and several countries. For some time her story is centered around her and her maker, and the unrequited feelings Rhea had felt for the cruel woman, until her maker’s death.

I will write more in the future on her and other OC’s, this was just a little quick test and not the best 😅. Questions are always welcome!

I write a lot for my characters. Rhea in particular I haven’t written much for, just random scenes, but for other ones I write a lot myself or with my friend.
