Hello everyone :),

A new month means a new set — this time: the Laundry Room! :D

What inspired me is that whenever I watch period dramas or see grand houses, the service areas often have walls of glass to let in plenty of light for proper working conditions. So, I decided to create a set of doors and windows for all wall heights. These can partition different interior spaces, or you could even use them to build a conservatory if you like. The pieces can be used individually, but they also slot together seamlessly for a continuous look.

The kitchen is well covered, but one space many of you have asked about — and that I’ve never touched before — is the Laundry Room. I thought it would be a great idea to make it fit seamlessly with all the kitchen items I’ve already created.

Of course, I made both a washing machine and a dryer. Each comes as a functional version as well as a deco-only option, in case you don’t have the Laundry Pack. You can place them on their own, slot them into the Fridgenook from Part 11, or build them into the new counters I designed specifically for this set. You’ll also get a laundry basket in both functional and deco-only versions.

To make your laundry space feel extra lived-in, I’ve added two cabinets — one with a stored ironing board and one fully empty (which also works nicely as a pantry). I also created plenty of clutter pieces to fill them: washing powder, detergent, softener, spray soap, and an iron. On top of that, you’ll find a set-up ironing board and a basket of neatly folded laundry.
