I for one would like to read some shorts. Imho, authors should always be creating new stories for themselves. In their world, or in a whole different theme. You shouldn't be afraid to just write anything. Not that all of these stories should be turned into something mind you. We're here for Magus, if you drop it for something else who knows if we stick around. I think a lot of readers are burned by stories just being suddenly dropped and not finished. It is afterall an investment to read your story over someone else's. So we're a little defensive when an author wants to try something than we're here for. But make no mistake we're here to read. If you want to start writing something, we won't write it for you. :)
