New Chatroom for Concerns and Customer Serivice Replies

Short Answer:
I created a new chatroom specifically for concerns and complaints. Please use that space instead of the general chatrooms where folks are vibing and having a good time.

Why?
Because I’m close to my content. Too close, sometimes. Some creators don’t interact at all—they don’t check comments, don’t engage. And I get praised for doing the opposite. But the flip side is that I also feel more. I care more. I’m more invested in the people and the community we’ve built here.

Some of y’all talk to me like I’m your internet friend—and I feel that. I really do.
Others talk to me like I’m the guy you pay, and with that comes a sense of entitlement that’s not unreasonable—it’s part of the deal.

But here’s the thing: I’m not always in the right mindset when those moments hit. And if I’m caught off guard, it doesn’t go well. (Still my responsibility, but it’s real.)
Now, if someone like J Man or John (aka MarinSimpNg) says something—even if we disagree—it’s calm. We have history. There’s mutual understanding. We talk it out and move on.

But if we don’t have that connection, and the vibe is, “Hey, I’m paying for TRIO reactions and this is what I expect,” then it’s tough.
In those moments, it’s not really about what I say. It’s about receiving feedback from someone who’s here for a transaction, not a bond.
That’s fine. But the chatrooms should reflect those two different relationships.

I read way more than people think. Just because I don’t respond in real time doesn’t mean I’m not paying attention. But I’ve learned the hard way that I need to be in the right headspace to actually process feedback the way it deserves.
That’s why I’ll check that feedback room on my own schedule—when I’m grounded and ready to receive it with clarity and respect.

When I step into that room, I come in with the right mindset.
And just like I use chatrooms on other people’s platforms as a consumer, I also built this one as a creator—for us.

I genuinely appreciate the communication. What you are doing is pretty unique for the react scene, you are kinda the perfect mix of twitch stream reactors who are always interacting with viewers but you do it in the Youtube format. Which means you cant turn off your brain after the stream and chill. Idk how you can handle it but good luck,respect the grind.

In my mind, Patreon has always been a place where you subscribe to altruistically support a creator you vibe with or access all their backlog/current content. Any future content they choose to create is still down to them. The sub doesn’t include a terms & conditions of ‘I’m paying you to only provide the content I specifically want’. You can unsub at any time. Lee’s responsible for others in his life so he unfortunately can’t just tell people this and has to put the business hat on

That’s what i think. But a lot of people rely on my patience and management. If i was a one man operation, id have less responsibility. Today im home with my daughter i can record with her in the house for summer vacation The platform allows me certain parenting privileges other jobs dont. Im grateful. I was gonna edit but i changed my mind. Played uno and jammed to music and now ill edit. So im grateful
