Her archetype of operatives want control, but granular pandering this early on is wild, especially when still building Fisk's public profile. Hollywood grossly misrepresents politics, making it sound too shallow & predictable, coming up with anything to move the story. The same goes for "too much red tape." Foreman would say, "It's not in our contract, I don’t have our bridge hole specialist, & we’re not getting paid for it, plus it'd risk my team’s jobs/license." Public unions in strongholds consider contracts sacred, there's an industrial complex to keep things steady/expected. Similarly the NYC-political woman would have a relationship with a survey firm expecting steady work, so she'd over use them/inflate importance. Thankfully the DC consultant class full of grifters fucked up last election & now get openly criticized. I gotta work with a firm that was paid hundreds of thousands for late partisan canvassing in 24 - yet have no clue how the campaign software works, tracking results, catching faked data, making lists. Great at confident excuses.
