But characters having actual pathos, actually having to think beyond surface level of their actions, even for side characters no less. As great as the Shiziku stuff was (and it was), Suzu and Tio facing and accepting their actions was cool to see. This show is punching way above its weight class and serves as a reminder that depth can raise the value of a show by a lot.
