Patch Notes 3-27-2022

Just released Texas, chilled for a bit, and watched others videos about the character on youtube.   Which led to these fixes:  The download links are the same, but the files have been updated.

Overall:

• Characters don't stay flattened for as long now.  I was paranoid about it being too much of a detriment to gameplay to linger on that effect for too long.  You crush em and they get back up pretty much right after the crusher does.

Texas:

• Level "4" does more damage, it's a non-secret now but by struggling during the level 3 you can get a level 4 which just feels badass to get.

• Her AI has been polished a bit to dodge her own stuff a lot better.

• Lasso no longer whiffs at point-blank range

• Gun no longer whiffs at point-blank range
• Jumping Hard Punch can "bounce" Texas upward on hit, to help avoid Georgia if you jump

• Holding Lasso spin builds a small amount of meter

•  Getting crushed be hurt outlaws gives a large chunk of meter.

• Jumping Hard Punch has its damage increased from 60 -> 70

•  Jumping Hard Kick had its damage increased from 70 -> 80

• In addition to being able to backdash out of the Lasso spin, you can also run forward after a small amount of time.

• Lasso stun time when you reel them in is VERY short. 120 (2 seconds) ticks -> 45 ticks (3/4 a second)


Rapid:

• Maximum Rabbit Damage has been increased 480 -> 520

• Walk Forward speed  has been increased

• Bounces further back on a blocked hip & elbow from his run.

Aroma: 

• Health is up from 900 -> 950

• Crouching Light Kick has a faster start-up but less range

• her fan Reka now has an OTG option with the sweep.

• Her gas blast  has slightly better startup now 13 frames

Violet:

• Needles has MUCH better range now and can hit fullscreen

• Needle damage was reduced: 30 -> 20 (This move isn't meant to do damage anyway, its wake up control)

•Health has been increased 900 -> 925

Jiggly:

• Health has been reverted back: 900 -> 950

• The cake from her level 3 doesn't heal as much: 200 - > 120

•  AI knows about its corkscrew Butt and will use it.

Lardo:

• Belly bump Damage Increased 100 -> 120

• Tail Grab Stun time greatly reduced 120 ticks(2 seconds) - > 45 ticks (3/4 a second)

Jumbo: 

• BUG: Jumping Hard Punch wasn't working and is now fixed

Enorma: 

• BUG: C. Hard Punch was unblockable in the air.  This was not intended.  It is blockable now.

Julian:

• BUG: S. Hard Kick wasn't hitting sometimes.  This has been fixed.

• Julian's run speed has been descreased

•  Giant Swing Recovery has been altered. He smacks his as 1, 2 and 3 times for Light, Heavy and EX.  He also doesn't go very far away from his opponent on Hard.

Say I’ve been wondering, if you feel like Bertha the hippo is really starting to lag behind the other characters, (since she’s one of earliest characters.) perhaps you can try giving her and rapid a team attack. It might be something to keep in mind if you feel like challenging yourself again.
