Myth-Alignments: A Question

Hey, all! I hope you're doing well during this ongoing pandemic and fun-pocalypse (no, of course it's not fun, but I'm trying to stay positive). I'm planning next month's slate of Myth-Alignments, and I'd like some input on topics from my lovely patrons.

For the MAs, I generally like to alternate between cute/affirming topics (like "I like your smile") and comforting ones (like the sick pet one this past weekend). I would love some input on either cute/affirming or comforting topics that you'd like me to tackle. They'd be short, of course, and ideally not be a repeat theme of any audios I've already done, but otherwise, I'm open to what you would like to hear MAs about.

If you have suggestions, comment below! Thank you!

On the road far from home and thinking of my future partner that I haven't met yet. Not sad or needy, just looking forward to having someone to come home to. Not that I care about such things! /tsun/

I really like this one (not at all because it is almost 100% guaranteed I will get hurt working on something, nope not the reason)

I had this idea when looking at my burned hand today. How about the listener comes home, trying to hide their injury. Ree catches on of course, and tend to them. I may know how to take care of and treat my own injuries, but I often hide them from my roommates because I don't want them to worry. I know one of them if they see my injury will instantly drop what they are doing and tend to it. I usually just let them do their thing at that point because if I don't they just nag me for the next few days.

Your quirks make you you and I love all of you. Many way to go with this: physical features, mannerisms, habits, whatever.

Considering our "fun-pocalypse" is causing people to go stir crazy, perhaps some encouragement to follow the rules of stay at home and social distancing. Newton had to stay in the country when the Bubonic plague hit England in the 1600's and he developed Calculus during that time.

James Mostowski

A few ideas that came to mind; Comfort for job loss/Furlough Affirmation of cute habit I.e. singing along to musicals (listener thinks they are annoying or bad at it) Helping with nerves of public speaking/work presentation?

Can probably do seasonal things or holiday themes at specific times mainly still mundane but may open up more options during the season since it is mid spring, turning to summer.

Oooh, that might be cool for a regular-length audio, actually. I try to steer clear of the fantasy element for MAs, but I like that idea for a weekday audio. Thank you!

Yeah, the MAs are mundane for a reason, since they're supposed to be simple and encouraging/uplifting/affirming. And also because so much of my other stuff is mythological or fantasy-themed. I have lots more myth-type things planned, but for the MAs, I kinda want to keep them ordinary and simple, if for no other reason than I may never do mundane comfort audios otherwise :)

I fancy the idea of going to some sort of deity for insight on our future, but making the response ominous while being motivating and uplifting. Like something along the lines of “I cannot tell you what your future holds, but I can say that I believe you will aspire to great things”

Austin Truslow

I guess for my suggestion would to probably try more mythological themes with MAs since I believe most are usually in mundane settings with everyday experiences. I think going a bit more mythological would open up a lot more options.

Comfort for someone self conscious about aging / grey hair / etc
