Release of the second character of the January release!

Jack from Mass Effect has finally finished his test print and is ready to give it to you!

This was a difficult model for me because of her tattoos, I hope you like her as much as I do.

STL, Lychee, pre-supported files and Renders are already available for download.

This model is available on Cults3d

P.S. Yennefer is slightly delayed and will be available in about a week.

Have a great day and successful printing everyone!

P.S. I forgot to add that it also belongs to the general Mass Effect diorama

I specifically made them in a larger number, for those who like to break them and if what without them will also be not bad =)

Painting wise, the separation from the main block of hair makes it hard to paint coherently at this scale to sell the effect. Realism wise, hair being very flexible, a strand of hair don't really sticks out at the top of the head like this, with its end pointing outwards. Maybe if the end is also stuck into the main bulk of hair, the arch in-between might stick out, but not its end. Unless it's fixed with gel, but in that case, gelled hair is not often bound into a ponytail. Printing wise, since the strands stick out, they need to be supported, but since they are very thin, it's hard to post-process nicely without breaking it accidentally. Also, the strands at the top of the head will have to be supported connecting to the rest of the hair below, which is also very hard to post-process without breaking it and/or cleaning up the surface below. Maybe if printed upside down, that might provide a good enough angle to support them without the need to connect the other end to the model's surface. I'll do my best, can't wait to paint it ;)

Why?

Absolutely stunning, but those thin strands of hair are going to be a nightmare to print and paint.

and now i have to buy the rest of the mass effect figures to make the diorama
