EDIT: I re-exported this clip because some folks were experiencing playback issues. Sorry for the inconvenience! Should be all good to go now.
Hi friends,
I thought I might be able to salvage this one (even with the problems I knew it had when we shot it initially), but there were still some consistency errors that I just couldn't overlook. This one was a little bit ambitious, and I think in general it was a cool idea, but what we had planned on trying didn't really work out, not to mention that Lauren shut off the camera by accident towards the end of the video lol (at that point it was an 18 minute take so we couldn't re-do it). So instead, we tried to start off from where she had stopped the camera, but since it was VR, I couldn't see the take, so I didn't notice the errors from where she had left off, so since I couldn't see the footage, I couldn't match it up haha.
But this one showcases Lauren in a bit of a different light. You start out as her pet who she puts on a float while she cleans the pool (this take was originally super long, but the float got stuck in a weird place and you were no longer able to see Lauren in the shot, so I just faded it in/out to imply that maybe the viewer falls asleep and wakes back up or something lol). After she cleans the pool, she puts her feet in the water and tosses some water at you, before putting you into a toy car and then moving you around for a little bit. She accidentally turns off the camera when she puts you into the car, so there's a weird cross-fade there.
This one probably won't be everybody's cup of tea, but I think it's got some fun elements. I might do another VR shoot with her soon, so if anyone has ideas for places you'd like to see a camera go, let me know in the comments!
