Almost Finished with the First Lauren Ashlyn Video (+Life Update)

Hi everyone,

Sorry this one has been taking so long! I know that I first posted about this video at the end of February and now it is the end of June. However, I am almost finished with this one, I swear! Last week, I had an unfortunate setback...I experienced a file error where I lost all of my color correcting edits I had for the video, and therefore I had to start all over and completely re-do them (super demoralizing because I loved the original color grading I had). Anyways, right now this video is clocking in at around 20 minutes. It's not perfect, but it's got some cool stuff in it. 

What I have left: 1) Adding the video part of ground-shakes; 2) Adding movement to some of the POV shots; 3) Atmospheric sound editing (not the booms, but the rumbles and what not); 4) Sound level mixing. Beyond that, I think this one is pretty close. The only thing I don't have yet is a name for the video that I've loved just yet, but if worse comes to worse, I will gladly settle for something just to release it haha. 

A few other things: 1) I was thinking that since we've now raised the money for retroactively covering the Lauren Ashlyn shoot and the Jennifer Rose shoot, it might be nice if I started alternating the release of the clips? Would everyone be into that? Like releasing one Lauren Ashlyn video, followed by one Jennifer Rose video, and then going back and forth between the two? 

2) I received an offer from some friends to do some touring for their band, and I am thinking about giving it a shot. This shouldn't impede my ability to do these videos in the macro/abstract, but if anything, it could potentially both free up some time for me to do more editing (as between this and music, they would become my only two sources of income), but also there might be months where it is more difficult to edit. In my opinion, since this Patreon feels mostly like a fundraiser for manufacturing my ability to book shoots in the first place, I think it would still be worth it to have the money for shoots coming in and ready to go (I only take the money out of the Patreon when I go to pay a model, otherwise it just sits in the account), but if my output is too sparse according to y'all, I could always freeze the charges when I know there is a month coming up where I won't be able to do much editing.
