Life Update and Screenshots!

I apologize for not posting much this month apart from releasing the VR clip (in general, I try to post every week)! This month was the last finals season for me in my master's program, so things got a little bit hectic (an understatement haha). However, the good news is that I made it out alive, and this means I should have more time to dedicate towards editing now! Granted, I still have to finish and submit my thesis at the end of the summer (and potentially apply to PhD programs), but regardless, I do not have to physically be anywhere, so I am finally going to have more free time to edit these clips.
Anyways, I revisited this first clip with Lauren Ashlyn for the first time in a month (in a serious sit-down for multiple hours way), and wow, what a difference a fresh set of eyes can make! I tweaked the rough edit quite a bit, and re-arranged some things that I think will help to make the moments feel a bit more urgent. I am learning a lot from my mistakes in the process of going through these clips (and the newer Jennifer Rose ones) while recognizing that I am slowly making progress and figuring out how to better utilize my time during shoots. Sometimes I let my own self-criticism stop me from making progress, but I am working on it.

Thanks for your kindness, as always. The support really helps to keep me going. I've been feeling discouraged lately, with a bout of piracy coinciding with some financial precarity, so knowing that people care is a big plus. I'm really glad you're able to connect with my videos! There are a lot of producers out there these days who are doing great work in different areas, so if I'm able to bring something to the table myself, that's really cool. I appreciate ya Alex!

While a good self-critique is useful, I hope you don't put yourself down too much - because you are truly producing the most incredible and immersive videos in the business and that is no small feat.
