Finally Minhyuk's album listen ๐ All the songs here were composed and written by him. He has the first full album called HUTAZONE. It is also an amazing album! However, he told us that HUTAZONE was an album where several of the songs were written for BTOB, so some songs feel like it could be sang by a group. But BOOM, all the songs were composed and written solely for his solo comeback ๐ Regarding his failure. I don't know whether you've read/known this story or not. But BTOB started with a small fandom, tried several different themes and genres, only to find themselves grew veeerrrryyyy slowly. When they're about to give up, they suddenly proposed to their agency to make a Ballad as their title track (It's OK). It's a gambling, just like their other comebacks. Surprisingly, It's OK was the first song that charted very high! It's a success comeback! Then they continued with "Way Back Home" and "Remember That". Slowly but surely, they're getting famous as Ballad and healing idol. Despite being well-known, the rappers faced a crisis, especially Minhyuk who has spoken up about it recently. Although we all love how BTOB rappers infused their rap into BTOB Ballad, but Minhyuk felt like he's losing himself, he had identity crisis and questioning what was his role in the group. Long story short, he finally released his solo album, HUTAZONE. That was when he felt like he could breath again, showing up his true self. Then he entered his dark days again in the military. Aside of that, Minhyuk is also do acting. But his acting was criticized and got laugh at (he's still very young at that time, and his acting wasn't as good as now). Tho we couldn't see it, he definitely faces his own failures. But glad he still has a strength to go on with all his ambitious self ๐ Sorry for the long story ๐ Really enjoy your reaction.
