Guillermo del Toro "Tapestry" Soundtrack on Spotify
Added 2025-07-15 15:00:05 +0000 UTCMy original soundtrack to the forthcoming autobiographical animated film about The Great One GDT is now up on Spotify! It's a blend of Erik Satie, Clint Mansell, Aphex Twin and NIN if you want a mental prep.
Not exactly what Guillermo uses in his films (though there is connective tissue) but it's what I need for my particular film and style. I think about how Mike Mignola and GDT didn't see eye to eye on Hellboy, which was Mike's character, it's because it was Guillermo's movie and it needed to be what he would make. For me, having more propulsive glitchy industrial tracks to accompany animations involving Blade, Hellboy, Pacific Rim is EXACTLY what I need for my film- which also includes allusions to Lilo + Stitch, Chuck Jones, and many other frames of reference exclusive to my own creative POV and life.
Also please ignore the misspelling of Kroenen on track 2! It wouldn't be a Primordial Creative release without some egregious typo! A feature, not a bug!
