Releasing the first Magda Luna album a little over a month ago gave me a greater energy for finishing the SECOND one; the whole thing is a multimedia art project, in similar vein to Gorillaz or how Tom DeLonge describes Angels and Airwaves, so it makes sense to have another "art show" of this while I'm still deep in the trenches.
This video, with Cacia Zoo as the model, won't be out anywhere for a couple months, whenever I've finished all the releases for the current album. Shots w Cacia including the raw stills are here and the ENTIRE 45 minute NSFW photo session BTS video from 2015 is available for purchase here.
"Living in a Cloud" is the first song on the next one, and describes the isolated mystical existence of San Pedro/ Palos Verdes and really where I ended up as a creator, separated from almost all personal relationships and physical existence.
Sawyer was borderline offended when we were talking about foodie-ism and I was like I only eat to survive, and Maya had me watch her favorite film, Song to Song, wistfully opining it would be bliss to live in this creative dreamscape and I told her it's what I do, it feels like being permanently high without the drug, but it wipes out all the grounded connections to the world. Honestly it's like serving God with a compulsiveness that I am not sure I can ever get away from; this is why all of David Lynch's marriages ended.
