March Update #2

Hello Patrons, I'd love to hear how you're holding up wherever you are!

First, some Patreon business out of the way.  For $20+ patrons I'm adding a few perks.  Beginning in April there will be special analogue film sets each Saturday in addition to the usual weekly Saturday Sets.  For a while it's just been 2 extra sets a month, usually instant film related, but I've got a ton of 35mm/ Medium format stuff and it's of a similar flavor, and I also want to give extra to those helping support this business in such an uncertain time.

I've also added a coupon code to my Etsy shop (already sent out a week or so ago) for each $20+ patron.

My wife is returning to work tomorrow at the ghost town of an airport after a few weeks off on a Spring Break vacation and I'm finding myself stuck with my kids for at least a month.  It's hard to believe they'll continue the school year in AZ, many states have called it a day on theirs.  I work at a high school and while I don't have work, they're committed to paying us for 4 weeks and keeping insurance intact.  

I'm aware I'm in a better position than many of my freelancer and service industry friends who just saw everything evaporate in a puff of virus smoke and I want to send a lot of love to them.

The actual days are a mix of a creative whirlwind- when I'm thinking I have free time and no obligations - and complete panic and shutdown when I realize the economy is trash 9-11/ 2009 style, there's nowhere to go and I'm not sure what is gonna happen in the next 24 hrs much less the next week.  I'm also taking allergy medication which really brings me down to a zombie like state.  I bet it's like that for a lot of people now.  

Having kids in this era is strange.  They already have built this existence where being virtual friends is the same as being in person.  I feel like I'm a ghost in a phone if I'm not having an in-person relationship.
