Dec Update, Patreon Changes + Playlist

Hello Patrons!  This months' Spotify playlist is focused on stuff on a sort of abstract peacefulness and purity, with a large chunk taken up by ambient composers like Aphex Twin and Ben Lukas Bosen, alongside a few very purist rock tracks by The Verve, The Pixies, The Editors- bands with "The" in front of their name.  With the ambient stuff, I challenged myself over a weekend to write as many tracks or remix old tracks in that particular vein for my Pond5 tracks that people license for their video projects. 

I'm making a few changes to this Patreon in the new year and while I haven't finalized anything, this is basically what I'm thinking:

1. there will still be Saturday photo shoot sets but they will all be behind the $5+ Patron tier and there won't be any particular designation as to nude/ non-nude sets.  

Reason A being, no one else I look at on Patreon has a $1 level with content.  I think originally it would help grow this page to have a low-tier entry point but a year and a half of this has proven that not to be the case.

Reason B being I've never been an artist who either made work specifically about nudity and I don't think anyone comes to my work because they expect it, so whether there are nipples or buttcheeks or not in a shoot seems irrelevant.  

Reason C is a lack of new nude shoots.  In the last few weeks I had 2 very great traveling models coming to Phoenix and asking to shoot with me only to have both of those shoots fall through as their plans changed.  I'm a working indie artist so it's not like some of the lawyer photographers or whoever who can just book a studio or hotel room and a nude model whenever they feel like it.  Perhaps if my Patreon was a jillion dollars a month (hint hint) but it ain't!  Right now I don't even have a car!

2. New video art pieces will be at $20 level only, with no designation for nudity (see above).  $10 still have access to the tutorial videos and any existing video art pieces.

3. $15 Instant Film Weekdays will turn into 2 Instant Film sets per month.  Basically the same amount of content but instead of being spammed on a near-daily basis you get it compiled as 2 sets.  I've been programming daily posts for about a year and honestly I got no idea what I've posted or not over 250 posts.  It's also way more organized to do it this way.  I'll make a new tag that makes it easy to search through those instant film posts.

So, to sum up:

$1 level - updates like this only, no sets

$5 level - 4 photo sets a month, may or may not have nudity

$10 level - the 4 sets and tutorial access, no video art

$15 level - 2 additional photo sets during the month with emphasis on instant film

$20 level - instant film in the mail, video art pieces

And if anyone has a concern that this Patreon is slowing down or going away - I've got a shoot in LA this Saturday and a shoot in Seattle in the next week, one of which is with one of my favorite all time people who I haven't shot with in 7 years and I'm really excited to work with again!
