MAP DESCRIPTION:

Abandoned Pass is a sprawling encounter map offering a variety of intriguing scenarios to explore and battle within.

A path surrounded by hills leads us to a stagnant river, its flow obstructed by a massive dam.

Beyond the murky waters, exploring the area reveals various ruins, old traces of settlements likely raided by monsters and long since abandoned.

All around are signs of assaults on passing merchants, and a destroyed wagon and various crates tell a tale of nearby monsters likely celebrating their successful hunt.

NOTES:

• Abandoned Pass is a map that can provide thrilling combat and an engaging investigative session, offering numerous narrative hooks among the scattered details.

• The map’s entrance might see the group immediately fall into an ambush from above, leading to an exciting battle along the dam.

• The stagnant water may hide aquatic monsters, beasts, or undead.

• Crossing the dam can be challenging. Unlike a normal bridge, you must watch your step, careful not to get trapped in a void between branches and stones at the worst possible moment.

• The first ruin is an old house. An extinguished fire inside suggests someone’s presence.

• The old tower conceals a chest within. Loot guarded by someone… or a mimic lying in wait?

• Does the broken wagon bear traces of blood? Or is it just an old wagon long abandoned? It deserves investigation.

• Many maps from our catalog can be played in conjunction with this one, particularly preceding or following Bandit’s Pass.

During the creation of this map, we also worked on the April Poll Map.

The winning theme was a complex Arena, suitable for clashes where both Ranged and Melee warriors can shine, with opportunities to place traps and other details.

The project is fascinating to develop but also challenging, and studying the gameplay dynamics we want to offer you has taken us more time than usual.

We will publish the April Poll Map as the first map of May, so you won’t have to wait long to see it!
