The Pit [56x31]

Welcome back Fellow Darkish!
Today we present The Pit, a raised platform characterized by a large central depression.
We wanted to offer you a particular and imposing room, which could convey a certain sense of danger to the party, especially in some of the more Dark versions.
In the various adaptations, we explored a series of possibilities for The Pit, which will turn out from time to time a magical portal, the forge of monsters of a scary cult or, perhaps, the pure water basin where elves will hold their rituals.
The lore of Norogrod, for example, sees The Pit as the cradle of the abominations of the evil cult of Helatrex, which you will know well if you have followed the adventure. Our heroes will find themselves having to look inside it and at themselves. What scary monsters await them?
As always, you can find out in the Lore PDF in all Tier.

NOTES
- The central tank of the map is the hinge and the main reason why you should choose it. The various versions offer many possibilities to take advantage of the various elements that could be filled in your narratives.
- The party will have to pay close attention not to fall, into some versions. The entire hall is a raised platform without barriers preventing the fall.
- The long walkway is very versatile: it can be used to jump into the pit, or to get thrown into it theatrically. A villain could hold you a monologue, as well as a great location for a sword fight or a particularly significant duel between magicians
- The long spaces of this map, its crossroads and the two different levels allow excellent control by the party of large groups of enemies that will have to come against you from predictable directions.
- The fires could scatter incense or perfume, perhaps to hide suspicious smells. Drugs, hallucinogens, or tranquillizers that the party may or may not notice in time can also be burned.
- The party could try to break the chains of braziers with bows, crossbows, spells or throwing weapons to extinguish them and dissipate any negative effects.
