Your 2-Minute December Update

Hello! It's a frosty December morning over here, and there's snow now on the far-off mountaintops. Winter has come and, apart from numb fingers, it's my favorite season for drawing.

Last month we put together some BIG map packs. The Cove and Temple are each in our "large scale" 44x32 category, and the Jail's premium pack boasts a ludicrous amount of building block assets. As icing on the cake, we've also made 146 new tokens!

Meanwhile, Garm has been building out his Scalecrown setting, Troy has a new adventure fleshed out, and we've got a beautiful new community map to share.

We hope there's something in that long list that inspires you! We certainly had a ball making it.

During Black Friday I picked up a microphone and, starting this month, I plan on making more videos for YouTube and elsewhere. I'm going to start with "here's our new map and why you might want to use it" videos, but what else would you like to see beyond that? I'd love to hear your requests. I may need some more equipment for streaming, though...

Beyond that, I hope to make another push this month/season to improve upon (or at least explore) my art skills. It may not be reflected immediately in this month's map, but it'll pay off in the long run! I obviously get a lot of practice every month, but I want to more consciously aim my practice at what makes our maps unique and how those areas might be improved. I'll see what I have to report this time next month. :)
