Happy August!

This month we made three maps, all of which I was proud to share. I hope to keep up the momentum this August, so buckle up tight!

Plans may change, but I want to revisit making 3D papercraft buildings, I'd also like to release a cave token set, and I'd like to try my hand at a CHARACTER token set. It should be a great deal of fun!

Please leave your building and token suggestions below. I always scan through your comments when I'm filling out a token pack, and I appreciate your creativity.

Finally, your $1 coupon for this month is biscuitsandbacon which you can use to claim any of our $1 maps. Please enjoy!

Thank you all for your support this July, and a warm welcome to everyone new who joined us. I hope you're excited for what's coming. I'll see you again soon!

Happy August!

I really love the dungeon and cave room builders. The mercantile tokens are great as well, but a house / room builder would be awesome. But yeah, Love your art style bro!

I have a vision of something just like that, but it's only a side project right now. ;)

Yay, character tokens! I'd like to see a top-down character token assembly pack, a paper-doll kind of thing with separate layers for body, clothes, weapons, hair, hat, that people could layer together to make their own tokens.

That makes me very happy to hear, thanks!

Love your work! My players are always talking about how charming your artstyle is when I use your maps and props!

Thank you for your suggestions everyone, I will certainly be poring through them when I'm ready to put pencil to paper!

3D papercraft buildings have been GREAT in my campaign. I love using the 2D maps, and increasingly I've been using 3D elements on top. More structures would be rad! Ideas: • traveling merchant wagon • watchtower/outpost • exteriors for any of the existing interiors (e.g. The Mermaid Inn, Adorable Abode, etc.) • farmhouse • ruined temple • ANYTHING

For the cave token set, mossy overgrowth and vines would be nice. I'd love some small stream/rivers, or a small waterfall option of some sort. Large mounds of dirt/burrow holes, so your party can turn a corner and realize they've stumbled across some creatures home. Various colored/sized crystals and mushrooms I'm sure were already there, but maybe also some mining equipment? (a mine cart, basic directional rails, like the original cave tunnels) and raw/mined gold/silver/platinum? Oh, maybe an elevator platform (I'm beginning to feel like a mining token pack could be its own thing now). Some rocks with carved/glowing symbols on them would also be cool. As always, thank you for the coupon and for all your hard work. Can't wait to see whats next :)

I second the graveyard tokens. goblin/orcish token sets would also be nice. Assembling a warcamp or a goblin blockade in a road would be amazing!

Even though I like it, I look for maps mostly because I don't have the time and skills to assemble my own. A mix of build your own and finished maps would be the best. I understand that there are always some pre-made examples in the build-your-own packages and I appreciate that but I just feel frustrated to have so many cool assets and being unable to properly assemble them.

winter maps could also get some love. either winter tiles or some plane maps. I could really see a series of 4-6 thematic maps. - Fire: forge like maps. lava rivers and revisiting the dragon's lair. I really like your dragons map but I think that its too dark and some people (myself included) has difficulties using it. - water: perhaps a fountain in the middle of a plain with lots of water streams. a temple with watery hallways and waterfalls flooding chambers. a swear with multiple standing platforms leading to a huge sink or whirlpool - air: cliffs and edge passageways through mountains. a giant eagle's nest. - shadow: some shadowfell like map just like the Stranger things upside down? It's really hard to depict the shadowfell. I can only find cemeteries - fey: it's really hard to depict the feywild as well. I can only find normal forests with no magical or otherworldly aspects. Players can't distinguish between a normal pine forest or the feywild ps.: It's a totally different style, but have you ever checked: dasomerville on DeviantArt?

At the top of my list would be village tokens! You know, so we can build a whole village map at a smaller scale. So we'd need small scale roofs, trees, gardens, courtyard walls (stone & wood), a well, maybe farm animals, and the most important, a way to build a custom background for the fields, wild grass, dirt/paved roads as well as the main place where the market happens once a week. With maybe standing stones, graveyard, shrine, temples... But if you want suggestion for regular tokens... 1) barn (hay, animals...), 2) artisan interior (carpenter, seamstress, smith, leather worker, arrow maker)...

Seconding the color variants on some of the castle interior tokens. They'd add some great variety to some of your existing token sets!

Jonomytho

Hey, I love the castle interior tokens, but I was wondering if you could do a series of color variants on the beds, rugs, chairs and banners. The red is nice! But it would be great to get some more variety.

I just want to say that I love this build-your-own-map direction you've been taking.

Excellent month already! Some cave suggestions: stalagmite groupings, cave river, small lake(with something in the water moving toward you ripples overlay), lava river, crevasse, drop off, weakened/cracked floor overlay, natural steps up/down, guano pile, light spot overly from overhead sunlit opening, mist/fog area overlay, skeleton(s) partly mineral/stalactite covered...thanks in advance for drawing all of these ;) Also, a set of short cave dwelling primitive albino golum-like critters with large eyes(or no eyes) ... with giant colorless crayfish guard pets.
