As you’ve probably figured out from my cosplay choices, I’m not really a Disney person. There are many classics I’ve never seen (I love Dumbo, but I never watched the Beauty and the Beast or little Mermaid when I was little), I’ve skipped most of their newer movies last 12 years (except for a couple that I have watched with my nephews), and don’t even get me started on the live-action remake trend… except for this one!
Lilo & Stitch is one of my all-time favorite Disney animated movies, along with Atlantis and Treasure Planet. I don’t know if it’s because none of them are musicals, or maybe because they lean more towards sci-fi than "princess fantasy", but those three? I absolutely love them!

Pixar, by the way, is a whole different story... I don’t lump it in with Disney, and I actually tend to watch pretty much everything Pixar puts out.

Anyway, as you might know, the Lilo & Stitch live-action drops this weekend, and for the first time in years, I may actually go see one of these remakes in theaters (and I’m sure I’ll end up regretting it, like always when something remakes that one thing tied to your nostalgia Lol)... so I wanted to take this perfect excuse to talk about Disney animated movies and use my life-size Stitch to do some quick little summer pinup pics!

BTW when I'm talking about “Disney,” I mean their animated stuff, not movies like Tron or The Black Hole, which I really love. Honestly, there was a time when Disney took way more creative risks with their family-films.
