About my new reward tier (the poll is stil ongoing): “Out-of-Theme Character”

I’m still deciding whether it’ll be a bimonthly or quarterly thing; I guess in the end it will mostly depend on which character you all choose and how complex it is to create!

There are still three days left to cast your votes or change them if you already voted. So far, it looks like Samus Aran from the Metroid series is going to win!

In second place is Black Widow (MCU version), and third is Lara Croft.
Most likely, characters that come close to winning will be added to future polls along with some new options, sort of like an ongoing popularity bracket as this reward evolves!

That said, I have to admit I was really surprised that Samus is leading!
Even though she’s from a video game, which isn’t something I usually cosplay, the genre is still sci-fi, so it almost fits my usual theme. I genuinely expected other characters to get far more votes...
For example, Catwoman and Cammy (Street Fighter) ranked pretty low, and I was almost certain it would be one of those two! LOL
I guess that’s part of the fun of this new reward: with a lot of chatacters in the poll it’s unpredictable for me wich one will be your most voted option (I will do polls next time with even more characters options)!

Now, if Samus ends up winning, I need to decide whether to take the “quick route” and go for a Zero Suit cosplay (a sleek zentai bodysuit), or go all in, accept the challenge you’ve thrown at me, and build the full armor... which, of course, would definitely turn this into a long and complex project XD

Be honest — did you vote for Samus just because she’s the hardest one to pull off and you want to see if I can actually make it happen? 😆
Jokes aside, I love it! You’ve given me the perfect excuse to dust off my Game Boy Advance and replay Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid Fusion! 💙
