No Shoes & Accessories v. 3.0.0 (Test Version)

This mod was adopted from ShuSanR, who announced back in February 2022 that they would stop modding and playing with the Sims 4. At the same time, only the idea remained from the original mod, because the mod code was completely rewritten, so I can already call the mod mine.

✒️ Mod Description

This simple mod removes your Sims' shoes and glasses when they fall asleep in the bed or sleeping bag, otherwise it looks a bit strange... couches are not affected! This mod is for the base game, so it doesn't use the shoe-off animations from Snowy Escape. Likewise, shoes and goggles are automatically removed when swimming and playing in the fountain, because unfortunately the game does not always do this automatically. There is a bit of a delay in removing accessories, but it's better than nothing in my opinion.

• I completely rewrote and optimized the mod again. Also, now your lazy Sims are sometimes too lazy to take off their shoes (unless it's too warm). In the cold weather without heating, the Sims can also keep their shoes on. I also added the relax interaction for removing shoes, but here the shoes only have a 50% chance of being removed. Hot and cold temperatures can also change this value.
• Now Sims take their glasses and hats with them when they sleep in bed!
• Shoes and glasses are now removed for swimmers (in the pool or in the ocean) too! Shoes are also removed when playing in the fountain.

Comment: Bienchen also has similar mods for taking off shoes when swimming and in the fountain. However, all of his mods are overriding mods. My mods didn't overwrite anything so it's safer and more stable for possible changes with updates and patches.

⚠️ Required Terms

• The XML Injector from Scumbumbo is required for full functionality!
• You have to allow the scripts in your game settings.

📌 Installation Instructions

• Back up your current save files just in case!
• Download the zip archive and extract all files!
• Move the unzipped folder to your Sims 4 Mods folder!
• Path: Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
• Please delete all files of the previous version of the mod first!
• Delete the game cache files (how)!
