NOODLES IN BED: a cyberpunk boudoir ๐
Added 2023-11-04 18:38:31 +0000 UTCThe food of the future is not astronaut microcapsules, it's noodles! At least according to many sci-fi franchises and especially cyberpunk aesthetics. The sci-fi noodle trend probably has its origins in Blade Runner while looking for its many Japanese influences for a globalized multicultural futuristic L.A.
But has since been seen in The Expanse, Battlestar Galactica, The Fifth Element, Fallout, Cowboy Bebop, Almost Human, Prometheus, Cyberpunk 2077, and a long etc... becoming almost a wink and a constant in sci-fi that always puts a smile on my face when I see it: the noodle stall surrounded by neon lights inside the space colony or in the streets of the cyber-decadent city.
